Climax Low Signals
There were a batch of Climax Lows yesterday as the market reversed upward. This includes a Climax Low signal in the Nasdaq index (symbol NASDAQ).
I revised the default stock scan to track leading stocks without requiring any special price / volume action. This way we can see at a glance how the leaders are doing. We can track them and wait patiently for the optimal entry point, for example a pullback after a new high as in LANC, MYGN, and AZO.
Of course you can scan for whatever you want. Keep track of it all with the GigaScanner, using symbol lists and workspaces.

Stuck in a Handle
Well... it looks like the market decided not to follow through afterall. There was a Climax High signal in the Nasdaq just a day or two after my last post. Which lead to additional handle-building. If all goes well it will be a shallow correction, not going as deep as the previous ones, accompanied by some volume dry-up along the lows.

Cup and Handle
Accumulation / distribution in the Nasdaq has now come just up to the high of 57% set on January 6th. Meanwhile, the price appears to have traced the greater part of a handle in what looks like a cup-and-handle bottom. The breakout price is the high of 1665.63, also established on Jan. 6th. The next follow-through day will be significant. A Canslim dream actually.
The symbol is 'NASDAQ' to pull up chart in the Gigascanner.

Rounding out a bottom
Stocks have been showing some lifesigns lately, although most are still way off their highs. Today's list list pretty narrow - the default scan requires price within 7% of all-time high (all-time high is based on available data), and we haven't seen the full list of 10 show up very often lately. Here are current scan results, with 2 hours left to go.
