What information do we collect?

We'll need to collect some personal information when you sign up for a Professional Account. You'll be asked to enter your name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number and credit card information so that we can process your subscription.

Aside from that, whenever you visit the Gigascanner, the IP address used to access the site will be logged along with the dates and times of access.The server does this automatically. This information could potentially be used to analyze trends, administer the site, track users movement and gather broad demographic information for internal use.

Note that any recorded IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.

How do we protect your information?

We offer the use of a secure server whenever you place an order or enter, submit, or access your personal information. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. Your private information will be encrypted into a database and kept on file in order to service your subscription. Should you cancel, your credit card information will automatically be deleted from the database.

Do we disclose any information to outside parties?

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties (credit-card processors). We may release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety.

Yes. When you use the stock screener control panel our server places a cookie on your computer to maintain state between queries. This cookie is necessary for the correct operation of the stock screener control panel.
